This course introduces students to the foundational skill of coaching: the art of asking powerful and intentional questions. Drawing on principles from coaching psychology and ministry application, the course demonstrates how effective questioning helps uncover beliefs, clarify goals, and facilitate change.

Students will learn:

  • The difference between directive advice-giving and transformational questioning,
  • How to use tools like the meta-model, reformulation, feedback & feedforward,
  • How to create a safe and conducive environment for exploration,
  • How questioning can unlock self-awareness and personal responsibility in clients.

By the end of the module, students should be able to:
